This years annual lecture will be led by internationally soprano and mind coach, Nadine Benjamin MBE, who will be joined by GGI Chief Executive Professor Andrew Corbett-Nolan to launch the event.

Our keynote speaker this year is Professor Jaideep Prabhu, senior lecturer at Cambridge Business School and author of: How should a government be. Jaideep will focus on key areas from the book including making the public sector and state more experimental and evidence-based. There will then be the opportunity for the audience to discuss this in a breakout session.

Following the keynote, Sir Michael Marmot will be presented with the Good Governance Award 2021, in recognition of his extensive and dedicated work on health inequalities and evidence-based decision making. The award will be presented by GGI colleague Nahida Abdulhamid.

Each year the GGI Festival of Governance revolves around a central theme aligned with what is going on across the world and how we might improve and look at governance differently over the next year. This year's theme is ‘good governance because we can flip the script’ – turning thoughts and ideas on their heads, thinking about and seeing them differently.
