We're delighted that Jane Davidson has agreed to deliver our annual lecture and receive the 2023 Good Governance Award in recognition of her dedication to environmental sustainability.
Jane's unwavering commitment to sustainable development led to the Future Generations act in Wales, and the One Planet Standard.
The Award will be presented to Jane by our 2021 Award winner, Sir Michael Marmot, who received the honourin recognition of his extensive work on health inequalities and evidence-based decision making.
The event will be chaired by Anna Barnes, chair of the Seaview Project in Hastings and St Leonard's, which helps marginalised people with addiction problems, mental health issues, ex-and at-risk offenders and rough sleepers achieve personal growth and fulfilment.
Other speakers will include GGI's chief executive Andrew Corbett-Nolan, and Jaco Marais, GGI's director of corporate communications.
The annual lecture and the award ceremony will take place on 23 January 2024 from 16.00 to 18.00.
